      It rained all day Saturday!

It was also very cold!

I did have a blast however!  I met a lot of very great people, I had a lesson in what to do and what not to do.  I had a great deal of positive feedback.  And, I came home with many good idea’s for my next fair in June.

So, even though I had 2 jackets on, I went squish in the mud every time I left the building.  The cafeteria ran out of Hot Chocolate real early and none of the stalls in the ladies restroom had locks on the doors, I had a very good time.

crammedAmazing how much one can cram into a Mini Cooper.  Of course you can’t see out the back, but hey….. I still had my side view mirrors.

I looked up the Bottom View Farm in Portland, TN and it is beautiful.

This is going to be a great experience!  I am so excited for the opportunity for expansion and growth, for me as a artist, but also for me as a grown up who is willing to throw caution to the wind and go out there into the world to say, ” I am good enough to do this, and I’m willing to take the chance!”

So much to do before I leave, I must go and prepare…..

It is raining!  I hope it stops before 4pm, but if not I have an indoor booth.  At least getting wet will be minimal!

Ps…. ” Lord, it is raining hard!  Whew!

My first arts and crafts fair, I’m just beside myself with excitement, hope, and anxiousness about next weekend.

I will of course send you stories from beginning to end, with as many photo’s as I can remember to take.  I have a friend who will be going along to help, (and make sure someone is always at the booth)

I wanted to show some of the items that I plan to have in my booth for sale.  Of course, I will have 3 drawings, 2 small paintings, and a entire alphabet of painted paper mache letters.  I also have a few aprons, a number of purses and bags.  I also have an original drawing I did of New Orleans.  Professionally matted and framed. ABCs
